About the role

  • HR Coordinator managing documentation, onboarding, reporting, safety, and accommodations for Canadian home furnishings retailer. Supporting leaders and HR programs from Winnipeg in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the HR Services inbox, respond to routine inquiries, route advisory matters, and track required follow-up
  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation for offers, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, work permits, leaves, return-to-work plans, and employment confirmations
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, audits, investigations, grievances, training activities, and HR projects
  • Coordinate retail sales performance coaching administration, including scheduling, materials, completion tracking, reporting, and leader follow-up
  • Maintain Health & Safety records, committee documentation, inspections, training, incident records, corrective actions, and audit materials
  • Support disability management and workplace accommodation administration while maintaining accurate and confidential records
  • Compile and validate HR reporting, monitor action items, and identify opportunities to improve templates, trackers, and administrative processes
  • Report to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner and support leaders across the organization

Requirements

  • Two or more years of Human Resources coordination, administration, or related business administration experience
  • Experience preparing employment documentation and maintaining confidential records
  • Strong organization, accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Sound judgment and discretion handling sensitive employment, medical, safety, and labour-relations information
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, service-focused approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning HR systems and reporting tools
  • Experience with Health & Safety, disability management, accommodations, leaves, UKG, Power BI, SharePoint, or multi-site operations is an asset
  • Relevant post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Occasional evening or weekend work and travel to TDG locations may be required
  • A valid driver’s license may also be required
