About the role

  • Senior Sales Executive owning multi-million-dollar provincial health-system software deals for Canadian health technology company Think Research. Leading RFPs, account strategy, forecasting, executive sponsorship, and delivery handover.

Responsibilities

  • Own provincial and health-system Digital Front Door deals end to end
  • Run the sales cycle, account strategy, and forecast
  • Build and execute named account plans for provinces and health authorities
  • Map stakeholders, buying processes, budget cycles, political calendars, and procurement vehicles
  • Break system-level programs into phased deals with defined scope, value, and signatures
  • Create mutual close plans for deals above $1M
  • Lead provincial RFP pursuits with the Bid Manager, including bid/no-bid decisions, win themes, pricing strategy, orals, and demos
  • Coordinate executive sponsorship with ministers, deputy ministers, and health-authority leaders
  • Build relationships with at least three stakeholders per account
  • Maintain Salesforce stage data and commit forecasts in bi-weekly forecast calls
  • Build delivery plans alongside each close and remain engaged through go-live
  • Collaborate with delivery and integration partners
  • Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and work with executive sponsors, Bid Strategy, Solutions Engineering, and Delivery & Customer Excellence

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience
  • 5+ years selling to Canadian provincial governments, health authorities, or large health systems
  • Record of closing multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreements through 12–18+ month public-sector sales cycles
  • Credibility with ministers, deputy ministers, and health-authority executives
  • Hands-on experience with formal RFPs and Canadian public procurement
  • Discipline in account planning, phased deals, mutual close plans, and accurate forecasting in Salesforce
  • Experience selling software combined with services and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • French is nice to have for work with New Brunswick and Quebec stakeholders
  • Background in virtual care, digital health, or clinical services is nice to have
  • Existing relationships in Atlantic Canada or the Prairies are nice to have
  • Experience taking a pilot or first phase through to a province-wide program is nice to have
  • Must be based near a major Canadian airport hub to support frequent travel
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Canada
