About the role

  • Software Developer building full-stack applications for Turner Fleischer, a Canadian architecture and design studio. Developing APIs, DevOps workflows, and digital solutions for architects and studio operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain full-stack software solutions improving studio processes, workflows, and decision-making
  • Collaborate on applications and features from ideation and prototyping through release, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement
  • Design, develop, and integrate APIs and services connecting project, business, and third-party data
  • Contribute to application infrastructure and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, environment configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Work with stakeholders and end users, including architects, to understand needs, identify opportunities, define requirements, and develop scalable solutions
  • Prototype and evaluate new technologies, approaches, and integrations before production adoption
  • Develop and improve data workflows and explore machine learning, AI, and emerging technologies for studio challenges
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom applications supporting the studio

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Full-stack software development experience across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and deployment
  • Back-end development experience in the .NET ecosystem, including C# and ASP.NET Core, or comparable managed language experience such as Java
  • Experience building modern, responsive user interfaces with React.js or Angular/Vue.js
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows using GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to independently evaluate and explain technical concepts, constraints, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Autodesk technologies experience, including Revit API or Autodesk Platform Services APIs, is an asset
