About the role

  • Lead Optimizely architect designing enterprise digital platforms and AI-enabled experiences for Valtech, an experience innovation company. Advising clients, leading delivery teams, and shaping digital transformation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design enterprise-grade Optimizely solutions aligned with business objectives, technical requirements, and best practices
  • Define scalable architectures for content management, integrations, personalization, analytics, and digital experience platforms
  • Provide technical leadership across concurrent projects and guide teams through complex implementation challenges
  • Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, and executive-ready presentations
  • Lead technical discovery, feasibility assessments, and risk identification
  • Support engineering teams with proof-of-concepts, complex implementations, and critical technical decisions
  • Establish best practices for content modeling, headless delivery, security, performance, and maintainability
  • Design integrations across CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, analytics, and identity ecosystems
  • Define data collection, event tracking, and analytics strategies
  • Design and deliver AI-enabled experiences using Optimizely Opal, LLM services, and emerging AI technologies
  • Define AI governance frameworks and guardrails covering privacy, compliance, content quality, and human oversight
  • Champion AI-assisted software delivery, including code generation, testing automation, and developer productivity tools
  • Advise enterprise clients on technology roadmaps, platform modernization, and MarTech ecosystems
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, and Creative teams
  • Contribute to business development, solution shaping, client workshops, proposals, estimation, and pre-sales activities
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and improve Valtech offerings, accelerators, and delivery standards
  • Mentor architects and developers and manage a small team of direct reports

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise web development, including at least 5 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar leadership role
  • Deep expertise with Optimizely CMS 12 and/or SaaS CMS, including multiple enterprise implementations delivered as lead architect
  • Strong .NET background, including C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Optimizely APIs
  • Experience with headless and hybrid architectures using Optimizely Graph and/or Content Delivery API
  • Front-end integration experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
  • Strong understanding of content modeling, personalization, multisite, and multilingual implementations
  • Experience integrating CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, search, and identity platforms
  • Experience designing analytics and data solutions using platforms such as Optimizely Data Platform, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, or BigQuery
  • Proven experience delivering production AI capabilities, including LLM integrations, agents, and RAG solutions
  • Experience with Optimizely DXP, Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows
  • Experience supporting estimation, solution shaping, and pre-sales activities
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering or architecture teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
