About the role

  • Product Manager owning documentation as a product for Versapay’s accounts receivable automation platform. Building AI-assisted pipelines, standards, and publishing systems across ERP applications.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full documentation surface: in-product Help, implementation guides, support runbooks, and release notes
  • Decide what gets documented, rewritten, or retired
  • Build customer-focused information architecture
  • Define and own documentation metrics including release coverage, page freshness, no-result Help searches, and related support volume
  • Design and build an AI-assisted documentation pipeline using tickets, pull requests, release artifacts, and recorded demos
  • Build evaluation processes to detect convincing but incorrect generated content
  • Automate change detection, terminology and style enforcement, screenshot capture, and publishing
  • Own and evolve the MadCap Flare and repository-based documentation toolchain
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define documentation requirements in the definition of done
  • Build terminology and style standards across four ERP surfaces
  • Design documentation change-detection and revalidation processes and own the SLA
  • Learn products through hands-on use
  • Write migration guides, error taxonomies, and integration behavior documentation

Requirements

  • 5+ years owning an outcome rather than a queue: product management, implementation or solutions consulting, technical program management, support engineering, developer experience, or technical enablement
  • Comfortable in Git, on a command line, and in a codebase you did not write
  • Demonstrated experience automating your own work
  • Practical experience shipping something real with an LLM, including evaluating its output and catching it being wrong
  • Direct exposure to customers in difficulty through implementation, support escalation, solution consulting, professional services, or training
  • Ability to learn a complex product without a specification and remember what was confusing while learning it
  • Proven ability to influence product managers and engineers you do not manage
  • Comfort with prioritization and saying no
  • MadCap Flare experience, complex enterprise system familiarity, docs-as-code or CI-driven publishing, B2B fintech/payments/accounts receivable exposure, and internal tool-building experience are nice to have, not required
