Responsibilities
Identify and exploit real-world vulnerabilities to improve the organization’s security posture
Serve as a technical expert in attack simulation
Conduct penetration tests and realistic attack simulations
Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to demonstrate their real-world impact
Reproduce complete attack chains (kill chains) using recognized adversary tactics
Assess the effectiveness of detection and response mechanisms, particularly using MITRE ATT&CK
Identify blind spots in security controls
Provide clear, actionable findings for technical teams
Contribute to the continuous improvement of cyber defense capabilities
Collaborate with detection and response teams to strengthen existing mechanisms
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or academic equivalent in computer science, cybersecurity, or another relevant field
Four years of experience related to cyber defense capabilities (Red Team), particularly penetration testing and vulnerability exploitation
Proficiency with offensive security tools (penetration testing, exploitation, and scanning)
Solid understanding of attack techniques, including privilege escalation and lateral movement
Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and network environments, as well as IT environments including networks, cloud, and applications
Knowledge of Active Directory and associated compromise vectors
Knowledge of advanced security tools and analysis methodologies, as well as programming and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
The candidate must be recommended upon completion of the SPVM security clearance process
OSCP, GPEN, or equivalent certification—an asset
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and adversary TTPs—an asset
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST—an asset
