About the role

  • Outbound Logistics Business Manager optimizing Vistaprint’s North American parcel-carrier network. Driving service, cost, risk, analytics, and delivery improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance of the outbound shipping network for customized products
  • Steer parcel-carrier performance in the USA and Canada, balancing delivery service, cost, and risk
  • Manage and elevate logistics partners through Quarterly Business Reviews and Service Level Agreement performance
  • Lead improvement actions internally and with external partners
  • Research issues and perform root cause analyses
  • Work cross-functionally to prevent recurring logistics problems
  • Leverage shipping software, data systems, analytics, AI, and predictive analytics to optimize the network
  • Lead shipping system initiatives
  • Manage logistics projects, including implementing new carriers and launching delivery solutions
  • Support budget reviews and invoice reconciliation
  • Partner with Global Procurement on shipping tenders

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Logistics, Business/Analytics, or a related management field
  • 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field
  • Experience managing logistics operations and/or external transportation partners, with accountability for service, cost, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Comfort with shipping software and data systems
  • Experience working with data systems, analytics teams, and reporting enhancements
  • Quantitative understanding of factors influencing logistics service, cost, and risks
  • Experience in the small-parcel carrier industry and co-creating solutions with carrier partners
  • Proven experience in a project environment
  • Deep knowledge of problem-solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information to various stakeholders
  • Leadership experience and ability to drive meaningful change
