About the role
- Senior QA Analyst manually testing Viv Technologies’ home care web and mobile applications. Leading test planning, execution, defect tracking, and quality improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the product under test and associated requirements
- Perform end-to-end manual testing of native mobile apps and web platform
- Create test plans, develop and execute test cases, and support defect remediation
- Groom stories to account for testing and quality metrics
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
- Design test cases and create testing artifacts, including Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Identify and execute appropriate testing strategies
- Collaborate with developers and team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Recommend changes to release plans to address critical quality issues
- Execute test cases within agreed timelines
- Analyze test results and investigate, report, and track product issues
- Lead manual testing projects and improve the quality of Viv’s software products and applications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manual QA role
- At least 2 years in a senior manual QA role in software testing environments for web-based and mobile applications
- Adept with Agile scrum methodologies
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance methods and testing principles
- Strong experience in functional, integration, ad hoc and exploratory testing methodologies
- Experience developing and maintaining test cases
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Attention to detail and ability to quickly learn the product
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to learn, adapt and grow in response to challenges within the healthcare industry
- Previous startup experience is highly preferred
- Certification in QA or software development (ISTQB, CSTE) is a nice-to-have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a nice-to-have
- Experience with POSTMAN is a nice-to-have
- Experience in data analysis is a nice-to-have
- Fluency in Spanish, Russian or other languages is an asset
