About the role

  • Marketing analytics intern supporting reporting, campaigns, research, and operations at Volaris Group, an acquirer and operator of vertical-market technology companies.

Responsibilities

  • Produce recurring marketing analytics reports, including quarterly LinkedIn and newsletter analyses, individual ad and campaign reviews, and annual summaries of marketing activity and results
  • Interpret performance data to identify trends and performance drivers, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and provide recommendations for future marketing initiatives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
  • Assist with developing and executing social media, email, webinar, and paid advertising initiatives
  • Support social media posting and create Canva graphics for LinkedIn and X in coordination with the editorial calendar
  • Format content in WordPress, including multimedia and metadata
  • Escalate website and WordPress issues as needed
  • Organize and tag video and photo assets and consult with IT or technical experts regarding secure backups
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment
  • Maintain marketing software user records and reconcile licence lists
  • Assist with contract cost allocation across divisions
  • Contribute to event planning and tracking, including registrations, briefing documents, seating charts, and post-event performance measurement
  • Work with Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and LinkedIn analytics and campaign manager

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Comfortable working with numbers and drawing practical conclusions from data
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to contribute creative ideas
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Curiosity, initiative, and comfort asking questions when working through unfamiliar problems
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different teams
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with pivot tables, charts, or reporting is an asset
  • Experience with Canva is an asset
  • Interest in using AI tools responsibly for research, analysis, and workflow improvement
  • Interest in B2B marketing, the software and technology sector, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
