About the role
- Staff Technical Program Manager taking Webflow’s AI-native products from prototype to general availability. Building scalable execution systems across engineering, product, design, and go-to-market.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution portfolio for an emerging product line from discovery through general availability across engineering pods and cross-functional workstreams
- Partner with Engineering leaders, Tech Leads, and PMs to decompose ambiguous technical challenges into milestones, sequencing, and execution plans
- Design and run the operating model for a fast-moving zero-to-one program, including pod structure, DRI cadences, cross-functional lead syncs, readiness checklists, and leadership reviews
- Define general availability and launch readiness criteria with Product, Engineering, and GTM
- Drive trade-off decisions with named owners and decision dates
- Anticipate risks and dependencies, establish proactive risk management, and provide executives with data-driven program visibility
- Build repeatable systems, health metrics, and playbooks for taking new products to market
- Embed AI tooling and automation to scale visibility and reduce manual coordination
- Coach Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and peer Technical Program Managers on execution craft and ownership behaviors
Requirements
- BS / BA college degree or relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management
- Proven track record of running strategic, cross-pillar programs
- Experience taking a new product from zero to launch, or leading programs in an incubation, new-venture, or emerging-technology environment
- Strong technical foundation and ability to partner with technical leaders on architecture trade-offs and execution structure
- Experience with AI, agentic, or developer platform products strongly preferred
- Experience building repeatable operating cadences, readiness frameworks, and health metrics adopted by others
- Ability to coordinate multiple independent work streams and organizations
- Ability to frame trade-offs, facilitate prioritization, and recommend solutions in ambiguous environments
- Effective communication with executives and engineers
- Confident presentation to leadership teams and large internal groups
- Proficiency with program management tools such as Linear, Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite
- Proactive embrace of AI and fluency in emerging technologies
- Valid right-to-work authorization depending on country of employment
