About the role
- Loadout Operator safely operating systems for Ammonia, UAN/DEF, and Urea at Yara’s Saskatchewan fertilizer facility. Handling loading, railyard equipment, maintenance preparation, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Operate solid and liquid loading systems for Ammonia, UAN/DEF, and Urea products
- Operate dedusting and self-loading systems
- Conduct basic process operations involving pumps, control valves, piping, weigh systems, and controllers
- Operate equipment through distributed control system (DCS) operation
- Perform railyard operations
- Handle power mobile equipment
- Apply Yara’s industrial safety procedures and work practices
- Prepare Urea, Ammonia, and UAN/DEF systems for maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot load-out equipment to optimize maintenance processes and equipment performance
- Work shift schedules and effectively in all weather conditions
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma (minimum requirement)
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to grow into a supervisory role
