About the role

  • Hiring a Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript/React/AWS/GenAI) for a leading telecom OS provider. Remote in Canada, contract role.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer with strong experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, frontend development with React and TypeScript, backend development with Node.js and TypeScript, microservices architectures, AWS cloud environments, serverless architectures, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for building responsive, scalable user interfaces, designing RESTful APIs, developing distributed services, and ensuring system scalability and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems. Extensive experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development. Strong backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript. Experience with microservices architectures, AWS cloud environments, serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda), Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using TypeScript-based frameworks, and modern DevOps environments including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Strong understanding of software architecture, system scalability, and performance optimization within distributed systems.

Benefits

  • Base salary $110k-$170k + ESOP + Benefits (depending on seniority).
