About the role
- Lead QA strategy and end-to-end testing for IBM FTM applications. Remote, Canada-based contractor role.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA strategy, test planning, and end-to-end testing activities for IBM FTM applications. Develop test scenarios and test cases, oversee functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Support validation of custom application enhancements, perform defect triage and root cause analysis, collaborate with development teams, and ensure testing quality and adherence to project standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of QA experience with strong expertise in IBM FTM (Financial Transaction Manager). Hands-on experience with IBM FTM for Corporate (FTM4C) and FTM v3 to v4 upgrade projects. Strong experience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, UAT, and Defect Management. Experience with Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Execution, and Test Reporting. Knowledge of Payment Systems, ISO 20022, SWIFT, Banking, and Financial Services preferred. Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar QA tools. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
