About the role
- Hiring IT Business Systems Analyst IV for a 12-month contract in Toronto or London, ON. Requires 8+ years with Mainframe, APIs, Agile, and banking experience.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements. Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories. Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC. Support testing, gap analysis, and ensure end-to-end requirements traceability. Drive process improvements and contribute to Agile project delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or Quality Engineer. Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe screens (data inquiry and maintenance). Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Postman. Experience working within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Strong understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and writing user stories. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. Strong testing and gap analysis experience.
