About the role
- Hiring a Playwright Engineer for a 12-month hybrid contract in Toronto. Requires 5+ years of experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation scripts using Playwright; build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks; execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites; integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines; analyze test automation failures; ensure comprehensive test coverage for frontend and backend components; perform API testing using Postman/REST.
Requirements
- Overall 5-7 years of experience in using automation tools such as Playwright; comfortable with TypeScript and JavaScript; experience with JIRA; proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for Playwright scripting; experience with CI/CD tools including Git, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins; test reporting tools (Allure, Playwright reports); solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies; API testing using Postman/REST; preference for candidates with experience in Banking Domain.
