About the role
- Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer (Amazon Connect Expert) needed for an 11-month contract in Toronto. Design, build, and secure AWS cloud environments and contact center solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support complex AWS cloud environments using infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, IAM roles). Drive the design, development, and implementation of an Amazon Connect cloud-based contact center solution (including Call/Queue Flows, Contact Lens, and Amazon AI agents). Build and maintain automated deployment packages and CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools. Implement rigorous cloud security models (identity, network, encryption) to protect data integrity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development and technical delivery experience. 5+ years of dedicated AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Lex, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, etc.). 5+ years implementing complex Contact Center/IVR solutions (specifically Amazon Connect). Strong scripting chops (Python, Bash, Node, Java, etc.) and containerization (Docker). Nice to Have: Prior Public Sector / Ontario Public Service (OPS) experience.
