About the role
- Senior ETL/Data Developer needed for 6-month hybrid contract in Toronto. Must have expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and data warehousing.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Senior ETL Software Developer for a 6-month contract opportunity in Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid model). If you excel at building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, designing star/snowflake data warehouses, and migrating complex normalized Oracle databases to cloud and relational platforms, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Must-Have Technical Skills: Data Warehousing & Modeling: Star/snowflake schema design, relational and dimensional modeling, data denormalization. Database & SQL: Expertise in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and advanced PL/SQL and T-SQL development. Cloud Engineering: Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure Data Factory (pipelines, Copy Activity, custom solutions). Database Administration & Ops: Experience with Oracle ecosystems (RAC, Data Guard, Exadata, OWB, OEM, RMAN backup/restore/refreshes). Scripting & Analytics: Python, Unix Shell scripting, and Elasticsearch for search/reporting performance optimization. DevOps & Version Control: Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and JIRA.
