About the role

  • Senior Oracle DBA for Ontario Public Sector. Long-term contract requiring Oracle DB, scripting, and operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Senior Oracle DBA role focusing on Oracle database management including installation, upgrades, patching, backup automation, and collaboration using O365 tools. Preference given to candidates with government/public sector experience.

Requirements

  • Must have experience with Oracle DB (12c, 19c, 21c+, Exadata, RAC, GoldenGate, Analytics Server), SQL & scripting (VBScript, PowerShell, Python), DB operations (install, upgrade, patch, backup automation), NetBackup/Networker scripting, O365 tools (SharePoint Online, MS Teams), and strong collaboration & documentation skills.
