About the role
- Remote video editor contractor creating polished long-form content for 20four7VA clients worldwide. Editing interviews, podcasts, and training videos with transitions, graphics, audio cleanup, and revisions.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form video content, including full episodes, interviews, or training videos
- Splice, trim, and clean raw footage into finalized videos
- Ensure smooth transitions, pacing, and overall video quality
- Add basic text overlays, graphics, and light effects as needed
- Organize video files
- Manage revisions based on client feedback
- Deliver polished final content aligned with the client’s brand
- Provide task-specific services to improve business efficiency, enhance service delivery, or support operational functions
- Adhere to agreed timelines, guidelines, and deliverables
Requirements
- Experience editing long-form video content (podcasts, interviews, trainings)
- Proficiency with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Strong understanding of video pacing, transitions, and overall quality
- Ability to splice, trim, and clean raw footage
- Experience adding basic text overlays, graphics, and light effects
- Basic knowledge of audio cleanup and color correction
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage revisions and follow feedback
- Good English comprehension and communication skills
- Junior to Senior Level
- Availability for 10–20 contracted hours per week
- Availability Monday through Friday unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing
- Availability anytime between 9 AM and 1 PM CST
- Independent contractor engagement under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work
