About the role
- Planning & Fulfillment Specialist optimizing inventory, supply plans, and delivery performance for ABB’s Motion Drive Products business. Coordinating factories, distributors, and ERP/MRP planning cycles.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence
- Run MRP/ERP planning cycles and maintain accurate planning parameters
- Coordinate with US and European factories on production schedules, delivery commitments, and supply risks
- Track inbound shipments and provide visibility on delivery timelines
- Analyze distributor inventory and sell-through to recommend complementary stocking strategies
- Build and maintain dashboards for inventory health, supplier performance, and planning accuracy
- Support new product introductions and item master data setup
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and inventory performance
- Support development of planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools
- Support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time
- Ensure adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or similar roles
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with distributors or channel partners is a plus
- Power BI is an asset
