About the role

  • Senior retail account manager driving growth for ecobee, a smart-home technology company. Owning Walmart, Best Buy, and other North American retail partnerships, strategy, and P&L.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic retail partnerships through account planning, sales execution, and joint business planning
  • Achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets through forecasting, performance management, and P&L ownership
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, trading terms, promotional investments, and service agreements
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Product, Operations, and Training teams to execute account strategies and retail initiatives
  • Develop and deliver executive business reviews, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Leverage market, consumer, and POS data to shape assortment, pricing, merchandising, and promotional strategies
  • Serve as a senior leader within the sales organization, mentoring team members and leading strategic projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience managing large omnichannel retail accounts in North America
  • Experience working with major consumer electronics retailers, preferably Walmart and/or Best Buy
  • Proven success developing and executing retail sales strategies that drive growth and market share
  • Strong background in account planning, forecasting, negotiation, and P&L management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
  • Preferred: 10+ years of sales experience managing top-tier retail accounts in the consumer electronics industry
  • Experience selling smart home, connected home, or adjacent technology products
  • Demonstrated success building executive-level partnerships and leading complex cross-functional initiatives
