About the role
- Part-time merchandiser supporting Acosta Group’s retail, cosmetics, grocery, and electronics clients in Edmonton. Updating store displays, executing planograms, and reporting completed work.
Responsibilities
- Set up and update shelving, displays, walls, and other fixtures according to planograms and provided instructions
- Plan and schedule store visits within the assigned territory
- Communicate work schedules to support team members when required
- Attend training conference calls, online training, and field training as required
- Create and develop strong working relationships with key in-store contacts
- Complete shift reporting, including online daily reports with photographs of completed work
- Communicate with stores and execute a variety of store calls, including Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart
Requirements
- Relevant merchandising experience preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and execute planogram changes
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Availability Monday–Friday within the 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. timeframe
- Valid driver's license and exclusive access to a reliable vehicle
- Comfortable traveling up to 160 km from the region
- Computer proficiency, access to a PC and internet, and ability to take and submit photos of work
