About the role
- Sales Representative/Merchandiser supporting a beverage brand portfolio in Calgary convenience stores and small retailers. Managing territory sales, promotions, merchandising, POS equipment, and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Increase the number of points of sale within the assigned territory
- Work closely with the supervisor to meet sales goals and targets
- Ensure in-store activities support and reflect ongoing sales promotions
- Ensure in-store execution aligns with the proposed plan, including promotional calendar, agreements, floor space, and planogram
- Participate in merchandising plans
- Install and maintain point-of-sale (POS) equipment in stores
- Manage own territory and customer meetings
- Establish positive relationships with customers
- Complete daily reports via the mobile app
- Manage the product fleet in the assigned territory
- Support customer satisfaction for hot and cold beverages
Requirements
- Exclusive access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Relevant experience in sales and/or merchandising
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to submit daily reports
- Exclusive access to a smartphone; using an app in the work process is required
- Tech-savvy and able to perform digital tasks through the app, including post-shift reports
- Exclusive access to a computer and an internet connection
- Full-time availability for a 32-hour-per-week schedule
