About the role
- Jr. Project Coordinator rotating between Bruce County and Cambridge. Supporting engineering coordination for Aecon’s nuclear infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Aecon’s Project Coordinator job rotation program between Bruce County and Cambridge over a 2.5-year period
- Gain exposure to the full spectrum of nuclear project environments
- Communicate with engineering team members and the engineering manager to maintain the engineering scope work breakdown structure
- Communicate engineering changes and updates to scheduling, project controls, construction, and other project groups
- Organize internal or client meetings and develop meeting minutes
- Report engineering meeting action items for input to the Action Items Register
- Coordinate requests for information to vendors and clients identified by the engineering team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- 0 to 2 years of experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
