Responsibilities
- Protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Government of Alberta's information assets.
- Monitoring security events, investigating threats, and responding to incidents.
- Analyzing security data, coordinating response, and supporting containment and recovery.
- Collecting, monitoring, and analyzing logs.
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience for ISO3
- Experience with AI-powered cybersecurity tools and techniques.
- Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, SANS, CEH, GPEN, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Proficient in one or more programming language (e.g., Python, C, C++)
