About the role
- Technicienne en architecture pour Société Immobilière GP, réalisant plans, estimés et coordination de projets immobiliers commerciaux. Participation aux appels d’offres et surveillance des chantiers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze tenants’ needs and validate technical feasibility
- Produce and review complete construction drawings in AutoCAD
- Participate in bid calls, analyze bids, prepare estimates, and negotiate costs
- Be present on site
- Issue site instructions
- Coordinate professionals through project completion
- Contribute to commercial fit-out, building construction, and building envelope rehabilitation projects
- Participate in estimating, technical coordination, and site supervision
- Work closely with the team and the department director to ensure project success
Requirements
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Architecture
- Practical experience in the architecture field in Canada
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
- Excellent understanding of buildings and their envelopes
- Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines
- Comfortable contributing to estimates, reviewing bids, and monitoring construction sites
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Occasional travel to construction sites, as far as the Bas-Saint-Laurent region
- Self-directed, meticulous, and solutions-oriented
