About the role
- Associate Project Manager overseeing agile projects, stakeholders, budgets, risks, and vendors. Supporting AlgaeCal’s clinically backed natural solution to bone loss.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations
- Supervise project workflows using Jira
- Provide updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues
- Meet with stakeholders to ensure effective resource management
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Communicate risks and project information to stakeholders and C-suite executives
- Optimize project processes and lifecycles for continuous improvement
- Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects
- Build and maintain relationships with senior executives and stakeholders
- Ensure regular communication among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Implement change management processes for scope changes
- Escalate issues and conflicts within and outside project teams
- Ensure project compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
- Work with external contractors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Create Gantt charts to manage project schedules
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a project management role
- Experience driving agile projects
- Experience managing Jira boards
- Ability to oversee multiple projects from idea to launch while staying on time and on budget
- Ability to develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations
- Risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Stakeholder and executive communication skills
- Project process/lifecycle optimization skills
- Resource allocation across multiple projects
- Change management and conflict escalation skills
- Knowledge of compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Experience working with external contractors, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships
- Ability to create and manage Gantt charts
