About the role

  • Media Producer creating conversion-focused video and photographic content for AlgaeCal’s clinically backed natural bone-loss solution. Leading shoots, coordinating production resources, and optimizing creative performance across North American customer documentaries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead video shoots, including camera movement, on-camera direction, lighting, and audio capture
  • Travel to customers’ homes for documentary-style shoots across North America, approximately every couple of months
  • Link stakeholders and the content team, clarifying project goals, schedules, equipment needs, budgets, and feedback
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, and budgets to maximize efficiency and production quality
  • Ensure content aligns with AlgaeCal’s brand identity, messaging, and marketing goals
  • Coordinate external vendors, talent, and freelancers
  • Analyze performance metrics and user testing results to refine video and photographic content

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of dedicated video production experience; e-commerce background is a bonus
  • Portfolio demonstrating ability to create content that sells
  • Experience with mirrorless digital cameras and cinema cameras such as Sony FX3, Sony FX9, Blackmagic Cinema Cameras, and RED
  • Experience with Aputure, Arri, and Lightgear lighting equipment
  • Advanced colour grading and sound design skills
  • Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Hands-on experience with AI video tools and generative workflows for footage manipulation, plate extension, upscaling, visual-element generation, and post-production
  • Experience with Veo, Higgsfield, Adobe Firefly, or similar tools is a plus
  • Deep understanding of marketing psychology and conversion-focused content
  • Health and supplement industry experience is advantageous but not required
