About the role
- HR Coordinator supporting employee administration, benefits, talent management, and HR reporting for a global shared-services organization. Hybrid co-op placement based in London, Ontario, from September through December.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR administrative support across Organizational Effectiveness, Workforce Planning and Talent Management, Learning and Development, Health Safety and Wellness, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, and HR Metrics and Reporting
- Interface with HR team members, employees, and external stakeholders in a global shared-services context
- Maintain position descriptions and support internal HR research, communications, policies, procedures, surveys, and reporting
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support Talent Acquisition with verification checks, candidate identification, and career events
- Maintain training records and support employee orientation and learning and development programs
- Oversee HR inquiry intake and assignment through the HR Webform and respond to general inquiries
- Prepare Confirmation of Employment Letters and support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
- Administer group benefits, pension programs, Recognition and Service Award programs, and total rewards reporting
- Process employee information changes in the HRIS and provide support for HR and QA audits
- Adhere to HR legal requirements, ethical practices, and current HR-related laws and trends
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a formal co-op program with your educational institution
- Ability to commute to the London office if needed
- Ability to work from September through December
