About the role
- Senior C#/.NET developer building scalable Azure enterprise applications for a global technology consulting network. Supporting cloud transformation, workflow automation, and high-volume transaction systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET
- Build and enhance cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL
- Develop and support workflow-based applications and business process automation solutions
- Contribute to the design and optimization of complex processing engines handling high-volume transactions and business-critical operations
- Design and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and data integration
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git
- Support application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams across client engagements and internal projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET technologies
- Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core
- Strong experience designing and developing Azure-based applications and services
- Experience working within Agile software development environments
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns
- Experience developing modern user interfaces using React, Angular, Material UI, or similar frameworks
- Experience designing and implementing workflow systems, business process automation platforms, or rules-based applications
- Experience developing complex processing engines, transaction processing systems, or high-volume enterprise applications within financial services, banking, capital markets, or wealth management environments
- Advanced SQL development skills, including stored procedures, functions, query optimization, and database design
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging, and distributed systems
