About the role
- Auto claims advisor investigating complex automobile claims and determining coverage and liability. Reviewing policies and settling claims for Allstate Canada customers.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance policies and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims, including impaired, unlisted operator, or non-drivable claims
- Determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims in accordance with organizational policies and practices
- Collaborate with customers, service suppliers such as towing and repair shops, other insurance companies, and law enforcement
Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 3–5 years of customer service experience
- Previous auto adjuster experience preferred
- Knowledge of understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in CIP designation
- Fluency in other languages is a strong asset
