About the role
- Custodial worker maintaining Aramark’s remote lodge near Timmins, Ontario. Cleaning facilities, handling waste, reporting maintenance issues, and securing the site on a 14-on/14-off rotation.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to Aramark and client standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Clean and maintain housekeeping equipment
- Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas
- Report maintenance concerns through work order requests
- Secure the facility by locking or unlocking the building as required
- Ensure security of company assets
- Adhere to safety procedures and OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, clients, and co-workers
Requirements
- Strong janitorial experience required
- Familiarity with remote camp work required
- Familiarity with custodial work
- Valid driver's license
- Valid driver's abstract
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions around physical risks and hazardous chemicals
- Ability to maintain a friendly, efficient, positive guest-service demeanor
- Adaptability to guests’ needs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing
