About the role
- General Kitchen Helper maintaining dishes, equipment, and kitchen cleanliness at Aramark’s remote lodge near Geraldton, Ontario. Supporting sanitation, custodial tasks, safety, and guest service.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils
- Maintain the dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas
- Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report issues to management
- Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensure the security of company assets
- Perform other serviceable duties as assigned
Requirements
- Local candidates living in Geraldton, ON
- Must have your own transportation to travel to site daily for local candidates
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and walk and stand for extended periods
- May require wearing uniforms and/or using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
