About the role
- Kitchen General Utility Worker supporting food preparation, sanitation, dishwashing, and housekeeping at Aramark’s remote Fire Lake Camp. Working a 14-on/14-off rotation with meals, lodging, and covered air transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation
- Wash, transport, and store dishes and kitchen equipment
- Clean the kitchen and camp facilities
- Unload food and kitchen-related supplies arriving by train
- Assist with housekeeping duties throughout the camp
- Respond to emergencies when required
- Ensure that food hygiene and sanitation programs are followed
- Support operational needs as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be versatile and adaptable
- Previous experience in a remote camp environment is an asset
- MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is an asset
- Ability to support operational requirements
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs
- Follow all established health and safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude, honesty, and good judgment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Successful candidate must undergo a criminal background check and, where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check
