About the role

  • Engineering Project Coordinator supporting planning, reporting, and coordination for Arcadis’ sustainable design and engineering projects. Maintaining project controls, documentation, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and multidisciplinary teams with project planning, coordination, and administration throughout the project lifecycle
  • Help establish work plans, track deliverables and milestones, maintain project records, and follow up on actions
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, registers, meeting materials, dashboards, and routine status reports
  • Monitor schedule and budget updates, identify emerging risks or issues, and escalate variances, dependencies, and changes
  • Coordinate meetings and communications with internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop agendas, record decisions and actions, support accurate information exchange, and resolve routine coordination matters
  • Promote compliance with Arcadis project management, quality, health and safety, information management, and commercial procedures
  • Assist with reviews, audits, document control, and close-out activities
  • Contribute to lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve project coordination and delivery

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in project management, engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field
  • Project support experience in consulting, engineering, construction, infrastructure, environmental, buildings, or professional services
  • Ability to coordinate tasks, schedules, deliverables, meetings, and actions across multiple workstreams
  • Strong organization, time management, prioritization, and deadline management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and presentations
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; project management or document control systems are an asset
  • Knowledge of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, change, and document controls
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving, sound judgment, adaptability, and commitment to Arcadis values, quality, and safety
