About the role
- Project Coordinator supporting Arcadis’ sustainable rail and transit infrastructure projects. Coordinating project controls, stakeholders, documentation, procurement, and multidisciplinary delivery across Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Support successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
- Provide coordination across project teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, cost tracking, and regular progress reports
- Maintain project documentation, including risk, issue, action, and governance registers
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholder meetings, prepare materials, and capture outcomes and action items
- Track progress against project milestones and identify potential risks or delays
- Support contract administration, procurement processes, and document control
- Facilitate collaboration across engineering, systems, and program management teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools and innovative delivery methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 3–7 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role, ideally within rail, transit, or major infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and controls
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and clients
- Familiarity with Ontario transit programs and agencies such as Metrolinx and TTC is considered an asset
