About the role

  • Footwear testing coordinator advancing Arc’teryx technical mountain footwear through product testing. Collecting athlete feedback and data to guide design, development, and validation decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute product testing for inline and competitor products
  • Deliver testing results to product management, development and design teams at key points in the product creation process
  • Support the evolution and enhancement of the footwear testing program
  • Build and maintain a diverse, engaged network of testers
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data collection for more impactful feedback and insights
  • Collect and analyze testing data, findings and feedback
  • Provide insights to product management, development and design teams to influence validation decisions and product innovation
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results, tester participation, and footwear sample tracking
  • Build and maintain relationships with athletes and core product users across key markets
  • Capture and synthesize physical, performance, and science-based testing data and insights
  • Explore and implement systems for real-time fit, wear, field, and durability testing
  • Engage broader outdoor communities to gather diverse feedback and establish benchmarks across product categories
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing feedback earlier in the product creation cycle

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a mountain sports, product development, or operations role within the technical footwear industry
  • Previous experience working in systems (Smartsheet, PLM, SAP, Excel, SQL or other)
  • Strong connection to core sports and the athlete community surrounding them
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements efficiently
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
  • Willingness to improve skills independently in new technologies and solutions
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and seeking effective solutions
  • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Passion for getting outside and living it
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada
