About the role

  • Program Manager coordinating strategic planning, budgeting, corporate services, and projects for Arc’teryx’s outdoor apparel business. Supporting global People Enablement operations and enterprise priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate strategic planning processes for People, Culture & Transformation, aligning them with enterprise priorities and long-term business objectives
  • Manage planning rhythms, checkpoints, and reporting requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and practices
  • Lead and manage budgeting workflows with cross-functional teams
  • Gather inputs, validate assumptions, and consolidate operating budgets
  • Oversee a portfolio of corporate services
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and long-term business rhythms
  • Lead communication with cross-functional teams and external agencies
  • Champion process innovation and optimization within the People Enablement team
  • Manage assigned end-to-end PC&T projects, including intake, briefs, stakeholder timelines, execution, and delivery
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners
  • Manage initiatives supporting the Global/Regional Operating Model
  • Lead larger projects and new services in the longer-term roadmap

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience developing and managing strategic planning programs/workflows and delivering corporate services in a scaling business
  • Experience in agency/vendor management and developing and executing project briefs
  • Experience with People and Culture services, such as people operations, learning and development, total rewards, people analytics, talent management, systems, and/or operations in a global business landscape
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including designing and delivering presentations to executives
  • Experience developing and executing annual strategic plans
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and guide without direct control
  • Proficiency in creating, organizing, and leading efficient workflows
  • Advanced experience using project management platforms and tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Miro, and SharePoint
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop simple, scalable solutions for complex problems
  • Proficiency managing a portfolio of services/projects and leading change through others
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and personal development
  • Proactive root-cause identification and solution development
  • Flexibility and adaptability in ambiguous situations
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Passion for outdoor activities and living the brand values
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
