Talent Development Program Manager shaping leadership and learning programs at Arc’teryx’s New Westminster manufacturing facility. Leading L&D teams and scalable capability development.
Responsibilities
Own the ARC’One learning and talent development portfolio, setting annual and multi-year priorities and roadmaps
Partner with business leaders as a strategic capability consultant
Identify performance and capability gaps and determine appropriate learning, talent, or organizational interventions
Build frontline and people leader capability through leadership development, coaching, Leadership Code practices, and leadership pipeline development
Own and evolve onboarding/Basecamp, Micropeaks, Arc’teryx Leadership Code and Live It activations, Development Planning, and new people leader development
Lead the design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of learning solutions
Apply modern learning design and adult learning principles
Measure and communicate impact using learner data, stakeholder feedback, adoption, behavior change, capability indicators, and business measures
Lead and develop L&D team members through coaching, performance management, prioritization, and ownership clarity
Partner with Functional Development and Talent teams, SMEs, Factory Training, People Leaders, and external partners
Adapt enterprise solutions for ARC’One and build scalable learning and internal facilitator capability
Requirements
Degree or diploma in education, organizational behavior, human resources, or a related field
6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, leadership development, or organizational capability
Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, retail, or other complex operational environment
Understanding of the unique needs of frontline and hourly populations, including shift-based environments
Experience as a strategic consultant, facilitator, and communicator
Ability to build trusted relationships and influence audiences from frontline employees to senior operational and People & Culture leaders
Ability to translate business priorities and performance challenges into learning and capability strategies
Ability to determine when learning is the right intervention and when another approach may be more effective
Experience designing and scaling leadership and development experiences across diverse learner populations
Experience leading and developing L&D or Talent Development professionals
Strong program and portfolio management skills, including needs analysis, design, implementation, stakeholder management, measurement, and continuous improvement
Comfort using learning technology, digital platforms, and data
Curious, adaptable, and energized by ambiguity, with a bias toward action
Growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and passion for learning and development
