About the role

  • Visual Merchandising Specialist executing global merchandising strategies for Arc'teryx brand consistency. Supporting consumer-centric concepts and driving meaningful retail experiences across global stores.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Visual Merchandising team to develop and execute seasonal and multi-year strategies to regional teams and cross functional partners throughout the globe
  • Supporting the maintenance and evolution of global visual merchandising standards documents in collaboration with Global Product Management, Regional Merchants, Colour and Brand teams for a consistent, authentic and inspiring consumer experience
  • Gathering and documenting visual merchandising tools, processes and communication that support seamless implementation of product across all GTM stage gates
  • Participating in regional store visits to support the Regional Visual Merchandising team in driving a consistent visual brand presentation
  • Collaborating with the Regional VM team to drive store results and best practices; fostering and maintaining strong relationships and communication cadence with the retail teams
  • Assisting with new store openings across the globe to support VM standards training in the field
  • Creating ad hoc communication related to changes in the business that impacts product presentation and visual merchandising strategy

Requirements

  • You have a university degree in Visual Merchandising, Art & Design, Marketing, Brand or Business Management and 2+ years of field experience in retail visual merchandising
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and SketchUp
  • You have an eye for product, product presentation, styling and colour
  • You are a strong cross-functional collaborator
  • You have strong verbal and communication skills
  • You are familiar with the Arc’teryx brand and products
  • You have a strong understanding of the active apparel market within the outdoor industry, and the key outdoor activities we make product for
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You have the ability and willingness to travel
