Responsibilities
Part qualification and inspection
Provide technical support to inspectors for receiving inspection activities
Support creation, review and improvement of inspection forms as needed
Serve as a resource and backup for the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
Initiate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and non-conformities (NCs) and ensure their follow-up
Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing quality and manufacturing processes
Perform product release when required
Coordinate configuration management of weighing-scale parameters
Produce and maintain required documentation related to responsibilities
Requirements
University degree in engineering or a relevant discipline combined with a minimum of two (2) years of experience related to the role's responsibilities, or any equivalent combination of education and experience considered relevant
Proficient in English (level 4/5)
Ability to read and interpret machining, assembly and inspection drawings and to understand basic concepts of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T or GPS)
Ability to use various measuring instruments such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, gear tester and similar equipment
Knowledge of problem-solving methods and tools
Experience in a regulated environment (medical devices, aerospace, automotive or similar industry) is an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
