About the role

  • Rental Property Manager overseeing residential leasing portfolios for Associa British Columbia. Leading owners, tenants, site staff, leasing, budgets, transitions, and property management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all Property Management activities
  • Oversee a residential leasing portfolio containing units ranging from single-family homes to apartment buildings
  • Provide strong service leadership to the team, existing owners, and potential and existing tenants
  • Complete various tasks related to rental management
  • Plan and organize trades
  • Ensure smooth unit/building transitions with shareholders, investors, owners, and management companies
  • Liaise with owners, shareholders, and strata representatives
  • Carry out leasing activities
  • Apply working knowledge of building systems
  • Prepare budgets and understand financial statements
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on warranty/deficiency issues

Requirements

  • Licensed Rental Property Manager
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on approach
  • A team player
  • Comfortable and confident in directing and coaching site staff
  • Confident in liaising with owners/investors
  • Excellent Time management & Organizing ability
  • Computer literacy
  • Good command of the English language with excellent Writing skills
  • Very good verbal communication skills
  • Very good problem solving skills (ability to see the bigger picture and think outside the box.)
