About the role
- Licensed Strata Manager managing residential strata portfolios for Associa British Columbia. Handling client relationships, operations, projects, meetings, and financial administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with strata council clients
- Handle day-to-day operational, maintenance, administrative, and financial management for properties within the portfolio
- Manage a portfolio of residential strata complexes
- Onboard new strata complexes as contracts are confirmed
- Prioritize and conduct business and projects generated by the portfolio in a timely manner
- Manage projects, emergencies, contracts, and contractors in a timely manner
- Create meeting agendas, conduct meetings, including some required evening meetings, and follow up with accurate minutes
- Administer portfolio financial matters, including budgeting, analyzing expenses, and reviewing and coding invoices
- Cover a leave of absence expected to continue until November 2027
Requirements
- A valid Strata Property Management License from BCFSA is required
- A positive and enthusiastic, hands-on approach and be driven by delivering exceptional client service
- Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities and meet precise deadlines and manage clients’ expectations
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of financial and budget reviews, and insurance policies relating to strata corporation
