About the role

Engineering graduate supporting CANDU nuclear technology projects at AtkinsRéalis. Assisting multidisciplinary teams across new nuclear, plant support, refurbishment, site engineering, and R&D.

Responsibilities

Assist in areas including New Nuclear, Operating Nuclear Plant Support, Nuclear Refurbishment, Site Engineering, and Research & Development
Perform engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers
Occasionally review support staff work for accuracy and adherence to standards
Begin developing expertise in at least one core engineering discipline
Manage multiple assignments using planning and time management skills
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution and innovation

Working towards completion of a relevant Honors degree in Engineering from a university of recognized standing
Expected graduation date between May 2026 and May 2027
Post-graduate degree(s) will also be considered
Superior technical written skills
Ability to effectively interface with staff, project management, and customers
Statistical knowledge is beneficial
Ability to understand and consistently meet deadlines under pressure
Effective problem-solving ability with a results-oriented approach
Strong planning and organization skills for self-managing multiple simultaneous work assignments
Ability to network, build relationships, and plan, with an orientation toward service, teamwork, and collaboration
