About the role

  • Environmental Project Manager supporting major transportation projects across Ontario and collaborating internationally. Focused on environmental sampling, assessment, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, scoping, and design of environmental sampling and investigation programs
  • Assist in the development of sampling protocols
  • Ensure site assessments are completed in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports
  • Interpret environmental data and assessment findings
  • Communicate assessment results and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements

  • Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Ontario is considered an asset
  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in environmental project planning, coordination, and management
  • Experience supporting major infrastructure, rail, and transit projects is considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04 (as amended) and Ontario Regulation 406/19
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and technical protocols and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and competing priorities
