About the role
- Systems Integration Engineer leading multidisciplinary rail systems integration for AtkinsRéalis. Supporting design, construction, testing, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems integration activities during design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases
- Lead and facilitate working groups and interface workshops
- Develop interface requirements documentation
- Interact with Requirements Management and Validation & Verification (V&V) disciplines
- Coordinate interaction with customers and stakeholders, design management and technical disciplines, construction management and delivery teams, operations and maintenance teams, and system safety and security disciplines
- Support construction and installation activities in the field
- Support testing and commissioning activities
- Express interest in future opportunities within AtkinsRéalis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Holds or is interested in obtaining a CAMP or PMP certification (considered an asset)
- Experience developing, documenting, and validating systems integration activities throughout the lifecycle of an asset or project
- Experience in light rail transit, subway, or commuter rail systems, with specific expertise in systems integration
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and the EN 15288 standard
- Knowledge of CENELEC standards and processes
- Knowledge of engineering and systems integration practices and processes, with practical experience implementing them
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint
- Able to lead discussions with partners, customers, and suppliers, and interact with technical experts in a delivery management capacity
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
