About the role

  • Senior Accountant preparing private audit engagements, compilations, reviews, and tax returns for Baker Tilly’s accounting and advisory clients. Mentoring staff and resolving client issues.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements
  • Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns
  • Mentor and train staff
  • Deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Anticipate and resolve client issues in a timely manner
  • Correspond with partners and clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation
  • Completion of UFE/CFE
  • Public practice experience is required
  • Experience in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
  • Superior people and client service skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Monday to Friday schedule
