About the role
- Senior Accountant preparing private audit engagements, compilations, reviews, and tax returns for Baker Tilly’s accounting and advisory clients. Mentoring staff and resolving client issues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns
- Mentor and train staff
- Deliver quality work under tight deadlines
- Anticipate and resolve client issues in a timely manner
- Correspond with partners and clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation
- Completion of UFE/CFE
- Public practice experience is required
- Experience in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
- Superior people and client service skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Monday to Friday schedule
