About the role
- Senior Project Manager delivering complex travel-management implementations and business-process changes for BCD Travel. Managing risks, stakeholders, project execution, and program improvements.
Responsibilities
- Utilize established and proven project management tools and processes
- Plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects
- Manage risks and provide visibility to stakeholders and requesters throughout the project lifecycle
- Consider long-term trends and broad business implications for alternatives
- Monitor industry best practices and techniques in problem-solving
- Bring resolutions to high-impact or cross-functional problems
- Document administrative process flows associated with running programs
- Analyze program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain mastery of technology/software related to operating programs and contribute to enhancements
Requirements
- Proven success leading medium-complexity projects in travel management operations
- Prior experience in a qualified project management role
- Good technical skills in GDS
- Ability to facilitate and resolve risks, issues, and showstoppers
- Ability to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, etc. or equivalent)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
