About the role
- Senior Travel Consultant arranging reservations, advising on policies and regulations, and improving travel programs. BCD Travel simplifies corporate travel through digital experiences and consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
- Understand client travel policies and provide consistent consultation
- Fulfill requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other necessary regulations
- Provide industry information including low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Review operational processes and commercial relationships and suggest improvements
- Maintain, communicate, and expand knowledge of supported travel industries
- Communicate and respond to current and prospective client requests
- Help clients travel smart and achieve more
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a travel agent, especially in Health Care Partners (HCP)
- Advanced skills in GDS Sabre
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. CT on a dedicated account
- Candidates must be based in the United States or Canada
