About the role

  • Project Manager leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations for BDO Canada. Managing governance, budgets, risks, deliverables, and client training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management leadership for full implementations, upgrades, and major enhancement projects
  • Apply BDO’s project governance framework and maintain, publish, and store governance documentation according to BDO Quality Audit standards
  • Ensure project teams follow BDO Implementation Methodology and produce deliverables to standards and schedule
  • Review key deliverables to keep scope, budget, contractual terms, and project scope aligned
  • Provide input to the BDO PMO for refinement of project governance, implementation methodology, contracts, and templates
  • Mentor colleagues and provide guidance and support
  • Act as a client advocate throughout engagements
  • Participate in training client staff for day-to-day ERP implementation activities
  • Demonstrate BDO’s core values
  • Understand clients’ industries, challenges, and opportunities
  • Identify and recommend effective service delivery
  • Participate in adoption of digital tools and strategies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Strong experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations / AX and/or D365 CE/CRM projects
  • Comprehensive project management experience, including budgets, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes, and quality
  • Experience with DevOps and MS Project
  • Coaching and/or mentoring experience
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively orally and in writing with clients and colleagues
